Dorm life has its advantages over home life. In a dorm you are on your own, and quickly learn that your independence leads to much responsibilty. You have no one to tell you to go to class, or not to stay out late before an exam, you must use your own judgement. Dorm life teaches you many lessons, like how to be cleanly and how to cook. In the dorm, no matter what time it is, there are always friends or neighbors coming over. You could make new friends, and being an athlete it is ideal. The gym is right across the street, and the baseball field is my backyard. I could roll out of bed to go to class, then get back from class and go to sleep. Dorm life truly is a great way to live, and a way learn how to be responsible.
