Final Videos

To start, all these videos should most importantly put together into one video or else everything becomes less effective if there are long pauses in between certain clips.

The videos are really humorous, which is great. They add "flavor" which helps keep watchers interested. It was a smart idea to introduce the video by showing the difference between home life and dorm life, as Rob sees it. Doing an MTV Cribs parody was also a great idea, as well as the two mini interviews and the ending clip explaining again why dorm life is better than living at home.

There are a few things that should be fixed. In the beginning, the music seems really low and unclear (maybe it's just my own computer) so it should be a little clearer. Also, although the clip taken from YouTube is great in showing how fun dorm life can be, it can also take away from his point and show how immature and irresponsible some kids can be who live in a dorm. To make sure that doesn't happen, he should add a slide before the clip that explains how fun or silly dorm life can be during time of leisure.

All in all, job well done!

  2. I guess you are going to hear this lot and I guess you already know from class but you need to combine all the videos into one. I really enjoy your videos as it clearly brings across your argument of how fun dorm life can be. The video however is all about having fun I also think it need to show the educational benefits of dorm. You could make mention of the fact that you are able to arrive at classes on time and you can be able to join study groups and study with friends. You could also mention that it’s not all play as there are strict rules outlining the times one can have fun and as oppose to the time to do school work.
